Jan 01, Toni rated it it was amazing. Well, Jeff Menapace did it again! I've read two of his books in two days What an explosive way to begin the new year. At this rate I'll be reading a book a day! Then in the last quarter of the book, BAM - it's a wild ride that's utterly and completely impossible to put down. Do Well, Jeff Menapace did it again! Don't plan on any snack or bathroom breaks. That ending With each chapter, I develop a new fondness for this author.
He's close to my age, which means I totally relate to all of his pop culture references. But the one tiny thing that turned me into his greatest fan in addition to the horrifying tale and fun quips , he makes reference to the Rainbow Bridge! Jeff, you've got a fan for life here, buddy.

Sep 21, Robert rated it really liked it Shelves: thriller , horror. Book 2 in the Bad Games series didn't disappoint. This book includes the same shocks, the same thrills, but introduced a new character, Domino Taylor, an ex-Marine who now runs a private security company. Domino is tasked with guarding the Lambert family after the horrors they endured at Crescent Lake.
Even though it's all over. Or is it? I rated this book 4 stars instead of the 5 I gave book 1. Not because it wasn't as good, but I guess it didn't shock me as much as book 1. That is one of the ma Book 2 in the Bad Games series didn't disappoint. That is one of the major issues of sequels - keeping it fresh and just as stunning as the first instalment. Jeff Menapace does a great job to try to keep the dread going. He only just missed, in my opinion, but I did enjoy this book immensely.
Onto book 3!

The storyline was well-crafted, and the suspense was drawn tightly around the reader's throat, as you kept waiting for the much-anticipated meeting at the end. The ending was a heart-wrencher, but the epilogue wa a good introduction to the third entry to this series. Jun 16, Vivian rated it it was amazing. After the torture Patrick, Amy and their two kids endured at the hands of their captors in Bad Games book 1 , they were sure that the only survivor would be in prison for life.
They were wrong. Life had another idea. Artie was found. Found by his biological sister; as sinister as he and his brother ever were. Along with their biological father, they were destined for a reunion that would inevitably cause havoc on the unsuspecting.

An Intense psychological thriller, yet the characters are very well written. Jun 26, Patty rated it really liked it. Ok book Not real sure how I want to write this review. I liked the book, but I felt it was lacking some how. I didn't feel it had the same excitement and terror as the first one.

- Balancing on Air;
- Bad Games: Hellbent – A Dark Psychological Thriller (Bad Games Series Book 3) – Armadillo eBooks.

- Buy for others.
- Student nurse intake...!
- List of movies available on Netflix in Australia.
I was expecting more in the terror and horror department considering what the first one had. I felt this one centered too much on Amy and Patrick's marriage.
Every Night I Dream of Hell
There were only a couple of real good build ups to tense scenes. If you are going to write a horror type book, don't hold back!! Go all the way.

What is more compelling of a reason than protecting and avenging your family? However this works both ways Aug 22, DolphinBlue rated it really liked it. No wasted words but enough to make you care about the main characters. Tightly scripted and well-paced.
